Technology

KURARAY SPANDOL® is a yarn that absorbs shock and vibration — plenty of materials cushion impact, but almost none do it in yarn form. Knitted into the footbed, it delivers real cushioning with no heat-pressing or special treatment, and unlike polyurethane it keeps the sock breathable while it cushions. Paired with merino wool — a living fiber that regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and resists odor naturally — and blended with nylon for longer-lasting wear.
